Located only 3 miles from Disney’s main gate it is the perfect place for your dream vacation, with it’s large selection of accommodation from 3 bedroom townhomes through to 6 bedroom Windsor Hills vacation rentals.
Below is information about the resort and community facilities but I wanted to start by giving you an overview of the area and why Windsor Hills is such a good place to book a vacation rental home.
Windsor Hills vacation rentals are some of the most sort after homes in the Orlando area and alway book up quickly mainly because they are newly built. They also have a good bedroom to bathroom ratio offering a 4 bedroom 4 bath and 5 bedroom 5 bath layout which is ideal for families that don’t want to share!
Every vacation rental on Windsor Hills has it’s own private heated pool and spa which is a great place to relax after a long day at the Orlando theme parks. All the Windsor Hills pool areas also have a covered patio area known as a lanai which is great in the summer when you want a bit of shade away from the strong Florida sun. The covered lanai area is also a great place for kids to play without the fear of getting sun burnt, it’s also ideal for alfresco dining anytime of the day.
One of other main reasons Windsor Hills vacation rentals are so sort after is the close proximity to Disney World being around 3 miles to the main gate which then gives you access to all the Disney Parks including Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. Once on the road to Disney you can also visit Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach and Downtown Disney which are all within 10 minutes.
If you want to visit the other Orlando theme parks while staying at your Windsor Hills vacation rental then SeaWorld Orlando is around 10 minutes and Universal Studios / Islands of Adverture is around 15 minutes straight up Interstate 4. Getting anywhere from Windsor Hills is very easy by car as you are located just off HWY 192 on North Old Lake Wilson Road. Once you leave Windsor Hills and head back to the HWY 192 you have immediate access to Interstate 4 and a number of toll roads that can get you to the airport, beaches, shopping so nothing is far away.
Orlando International Airport is less than 25 minutes away via Interstate 4 and then the 528 Toll Road which is Exit 72 on Interstate 4 or if you prefer you can take the Central Florida GreeneWay which is another toll road known as the 417. To get to the 417 toll road from Windsor Hills just head back to HWY 192 then East / Right along 192 for about 2 miles until you reach Celebration Ave, turn right here and there you will see signs for the 417 Toll Road / Orlando International Airport. This is a great alternative to the I4/528 route if the traffic is busy which it can be at peek holiday seasons.
If golf is your thing then all our Windsor Hills vacation rentals are within 5 – 10 minutes of a number of great Orlando courses. Nearby courses include Mystic Dunes which is pretty much next door and a great test with very undulated green and tight fairways. Celebration Golf Club is around 5 minutes away and is a beautiful course with it’s well manicured fairways and greens and is ideal for golfers or all levels but take some spare balls as there are plenty of hazards to get past. Another great course near to Windsor Hills is Falcons Fire which is always ranked as one of the best courses in Orlando, with it’s wide fairways it’s great for golfers of all levels but again there is plenty of water to keep you focused.
Windsor Hills Resort is a gated resort community which is manned 24hrs a day, it has it’s own clubhouse which has plenty to do for all the family. We have over 35 luxury Windsor Hills vacation rentals to choose from all with there own private pools.
There is a large communal pool which is heated all year round and is ideal for small children. It has lots of sun beds and shaded areas for those who want a break from the Florida sun. The Windsor Hills Resort clubhouse pool area also has a large spa and water slide which is surprisingly fast, this is manned by a lifeguard whenever open. The heated pool is open everyday of the year until around 10pm (Please check times on arrival).
There clubhouse also has a small but well stocked shop where you can buy drinks, ice creams, bread plus all the essential thing you need when you arrive at your Windsor Hills vacation rental.
In the clubhouse there is a games room with pool tables and table football, there is also an arcade area and computer room with free internet access for all guests.
The Windsor Hills Resort clubhouse also has it’s own gym and cinema which plays a selection of movies everyday, you can even pick a movie from there large selection and they will give you a time when it will be played.

VR360 | Florida Vacation Rentals 
Stayed here last year loved it, brilliant place. Only downfall was the lack of transport to all the well talked about locations i.e. I-Drive, Theme parks, shopping centres. If you do not have your own transport then I would not advise it. On the other hand, the whole place is well kept and beautiful! Staff are friendly, club house is great and the villas are superb!
Would definately return here, disappointed that we are not returning this Christmas!
