Halloween Horror Nights 26 Ticket Prices (Universal Orlando Resort)

Halloween Horror Nights 26 ticket prices can be very confusing as there are a number of different options and packages, I will do my best to explain all the different options available.

INDIVIDUAL TICKETS – General Admission Ticket

If you just want to purchase a general admission ticket the cost is $104.99 plus tax per person. You have to pick the date you would like to go and it’s best to purchase the ticket online so you can avoid the big queues at the ticket window. You can then print your ticket and head straight to the gate which will save you a lot of time.

Halloween Horror Nights Opening Hours

Halloween horror nights opening hours are from 6:30 PM to 1 AM in September and 6:30 PM to 2 AM in October. If you’re planning to purchase a general admission ticket I would recommend arriving as soon as the gates open as the queues can be very long for the haunted houses. If you plan on doing everything in one night without purchasing the additional express pass getting in at 6.30pm is your only option to do this.

$104.99 for the following dates in September and October.

HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS ADD-ON FLEX TICKET

The first option is a Halloween horror nights Add-On Flex ticket. The Add-On Flex ticket option is available to guests who have already purchased a regular daytime theme park ticket and is an add-on for Halloween horror nights. It doesn’t have to be used on the same day as your regular universal studios theme park ticket.

The Halloween horror nights and on the Flex ticket costs $72.99 plus tax, and can be used on any one of the dates listed below in September and October. The normal gate price for Halloween horror nights for a single night is $104.99 plus tax so the add-on flex ticket gives you a saving of $32 which is not bad but you have to have a regular theme park daily admission ticket to qualify for this offer.

Valid on a single night:

September 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 29, 30

October 2, 6, 7, 9, 12, 13, 14, 16, 19, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 30, 31

Ticket must be purchased in conjunction with a regular theme park daily admission ticket.

HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS ADD-ON TICKET- PRESELECT YOUR EVENT NIGHT

Like the above add-on flex ticket option this option allows you to preselect the night you would like to go to get a further discount with prices starting from $55.99 plus tax. With this option you have to preselect the date and day you would like to go in advance and these tickets have to be bought online. Prices start from $55.99 up to $82.99 with Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sunday nights being the cheapest. As you would expect Friday and Saturday nights are the most expensive.

As mentioned in the above information this option is only available to people who have purchased a regular universal studios theme park ticket.

There are only a select number of tickets available so it’s best to book online before they sell out.

$55.99 for the following Wednesdays in October 12, 19, 26.

$55.99 for the following Thursdays/Sundays in September and October.

$82.99 for the following Saturdays in September and October.

All the prices quoted above plus tax and a daytime theme park admission ticket. As I said there are a limited number of these tickets so it’s best to book in advance online. Universal Studios Orlando App is it worth downloading?

Universal Studios Orlando iPhone App

If you planning to visit Universal Studios Orlando then I would recommend you download the Official Universal Orlando App so you can check out the wait times for each ride as well as much more!

The official Universal Orlando App covers both of the Universal Theme ParksUniversal CityWalkWet’n Wild and the on-site hotels.

One of the main features of the app is being able to monitor the wait times for the attractions, so if you don’t want to wait you can just visit the attraction when you see it’s quiet.

Probably the best feature I have found is that you can set up a wait time alert, so the app will alert you when your favourite attractions have shorter wait times that way you don’t have to keep checking and can get on with having fun

Diagon Alley Walking Tour | Universal Studios Orlando

Diagon Alley at Universal Studios in Orlando Florida

Back in February 2015 we got the chance to visit the brand new Diagon Alley section of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Orlando. Unfortunately it was a little rainy and overcast but actually kind of looks how I imagine the real Diagon Alley would look so pretty cool.

Here is a video walking tour of Diagon Alley showing you the layout and as you can see the detail is incredible, now I will admit I am now a massive Harry Potter fan but after seeing this it made me really want to get in to it. As you walk around you see people dressed as Harry and various other characters and these are not people who work in Diagon Alley these are fans that love it!

The Blues Brothers Show at Universal Studios Orlando

I recently visited both Universal Studios Orlando theme parks in one day with a park to park ticket. It was a long 12 hour day but awesome fun. We arrived at Universal Studios for 11am with a plan to stay until the nightly fireworks which were at 10pm.

I will go in to more detail in other blog posts about the other attractions but one of the best shows they have which has been at Universal Studios since March 1991 in the Blues Brother, based on the 1980 Blues Brother movie which starred Dan Aykroyd  and John Belushi as Elwood and Jake Blues. If you haven’t seen it I suggest you check it out as it’s a great movie with an amazing soundtrack which is where the show was created from.

The Blues Brothers show is set in the New York part of the Universal Studios Orlando park and features some of the classic songs from the movie. It’s normally on 5 times a day but check the local listings when arriving at the park.

If you are planning to visit Universal Studios Orlando this is a must and always draws a big crowd.

Universal Studios is located around 20 minutes from all of our 550 Orlando vacation rentals which are mainly located on HWY27, HWY192 and HWY54 so they are an ideal base from which to explore all of the Orlando theme park attractions.

I hope you enjoy this short video of the Blues Brother show at Universal Studios in Orlando.
