The Solterra Resort in Orlando, Florida is one of the newest communities currently being built only 15 minutes from Disney World. Located in Davenport Solterra Resort is it close to shops and restaurants at the nearby Champions Gate plaza.

One of the biggest selling points of the Solterra Resort is the large clubhouse with communal pool, water slide, hot tub, tennis courts and indoor gym. This clubhouse is open to all guests staying on the Solterra Resort and is ideal for large family groups that want a little more space than around the pool area than there Orlando vacation rentals offerings. It’s all nice to let the kids play in a very large pool with a water slide.

For the sporty types there is an air conditioned gym which is open everyday, tennis courts and kids play area. There is also an indoor and outdoor lounge where you can relax and read a book. The indoor lounge is fully air conditioned and has a large HDTV, the outdoor lounge area is fully shaded and again has a large HDTV so you can sit and watch the game.

The Solterra Resort is located only minutes from Champions Gate which has a Publix super market, Wal-Greens pharmacy, subway sandwiches, Mc Donalds, Pizza Parlour, UPS store plus a number of other shops and stores.

You are also close to the Reunion Resort plaza which has a pretty similar offering so you are never far away from anything you need.

The Solterra Resort is located less than 15 minutes from Disney World and within 25 minutes or all the other Orlando theme park attractions so is the ideal place for your dream Orlando vacation.

New Ridgewood Lakes 360 Virtual Tour – July 2013

We recently visited Ridgewood Lakes in Davenport, Florida to capture a new 360 Virtual Tour showing just some of the areas of this luxury gated community. Click on the Ridgewood Lakes photo below to launch the new 360 Virtual Tour in a window.

The 360 Virtual Tour was captured in July 2013 so is bang up to date and shows the main entrance just off of HWY 27 with its waterfalls and bell tower which then leads down the long drive way to the gated entrance which is manned 24hrs a day 365 days a year. You can then see 360 views of the lake which is part of the 2nd hole and located behind the tennis courts. We also have a 360 view from the 2nd tee which is a long par 5 with water off the tee and then all the way down the right hand side.
